The Three-day Event

A variety of music will be featured at the three-day event, including bluegrass, rock and roll, and alternative rock. The organizers of the event have decades of experience producing live music events. Many of the musicians will play on both stages. Some of the notable performances include Zack Bryan, Whiskey Creek, Donovan Keith, and Caroline Spence.

In addition to music, the event will feature several cultural activities and games. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the public market, participate in a carnival-inspired recipe-sharing session, and engage in guided tours. Other events will include the Frye Art Museum’s open-air gathering and guided tours of the museum’s grounds. Ticket packages are available and include a shuttle pass to the venue.

The lineup will feature an assortment of local and regional acts, including the Portland-based punk rockers Rayon. Bremerton-based band Radical Leftovers will also be performing. Seattle hard rock trio Monsterwatch will be opening for the show. Other acts will include the Oregon-based country four-piece Eli Howard and The Greater Good.

Another festival that will feature several interesting performances is the Seven Peaks Music Festival, which is scheduled to take place for the third year in a row. Dierks Bentley’s festival will be returning to the area. Among the highlights will be the return of the festival’s popular Strict Tempo dance night.

Also worth noting are the late-night acoustic sets by Kevin Kinsella and Big Jon Short. Consider the Source and Tim Palmieri will also play their acoustic sets. For a more in-depth look at the festival, check out the Go! Magazine’s annual guide.

Caveman Music Festival will feature a plethora of other great music. Organizers have included the Avett Brothers, Shovels & Rope, Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas, and Shakey Graves in the 2014 lineup. Additionally, the North Mississippi All-Stars, St. Paul and Broken Bones, and Humming House will also be playing in 2014.

Although the Disc Jam Funk All-Stars, The Jauntee, and The Nth Power won’t be performing, they do have a cool lineup. The hoop-tacular group is made up of Peter Prince, The Trauma Unit, and the Disc Jam Hoop Tribe.

Another show that will be featured at the event is the Agnes Martin show. Agnes Martin was a minimalist artist who inspired many artists to create visual interpretations of her work. Agnes’s famous shot glasses will be featured in the show, along with paper ephemera and advertising.

The best part about the Caveman Music Festival is that ticket packages are of great value. Attendees can purchase packages that include lodging and shuttle access to the venue.
