Telluride

The Colorado Americana Music Festival is one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the United States. The festival is a two-day celebration that features the best Americana music and singer-songwriters. The festival takes place in the beautiful town of Telluride from Thursday, July 14, to Saturday, July 16. Ticket prices are reasonable; you can buy one-night tickets or a package for the entire festival. The show is a fundraiser for the local Sheridan Opera House and you can purchase floor or balcony tickets for $100 each, plus a $5 ticketing fee.

Bluebird Music Festival

The Americana Music Festival is the premier festival celebrating bluegrass music. Held in Colorado Springs, this festival features local and national performers from every genre. A festival is a family-friendly event, with on-site camping, vending, and art performances. During this two-day event, attendees can also enjoy a late-night stage, twang-filled evenings, and hot tubs. As a bonus, attendees can even participate in a Bluegrass Dance Class.

Treefort Music Fest

The Treefort Music Fest is a popular annual event in the Rocky Mountains that attracts thousands of people to Boise, Idaho, a town of around 14,000 people. The festival is held every year in late July, so it is no wonder that it draws so many people. In addition to its excellent lineup, the festival also features food showcases and a convoy of food trucks. Last year, there were ten food trucks on site, including Mad Mac, Kanak Attack, and Genki Takoyaki. Among the local performers is Blood Lemon, a riot grrrrrrrrrl-inspired band who plays alongside hometown favorites Built To Spill.

WonderWonderGrass

WinterWonderGrass is the best place to celebrate bluegrass and other Americana genres in the chilly season. Organizers have created an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a wintertime Alpine village. This wintertime event features an outdoor winter wonderland, heated beer tents, kids’ activities, and bonfires. The festival is held in the historic town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Seven Peaks

The Colorado Americana Music Festival is an annual event that takes place in Buena Vista, a small mountain town 95 miles west of Colorado Springs. Last summer, Live Nation was forced to cancel a 20,000-person country music concert in Buena Vista after commissioners refused to raise the capacity limit because of concerns about the risk of a coronavirus outbreak. However, the festival found a new home in Villa Grove, a small town 45 miles south of Buena Vista. Currently, the festival is the largest event ever in Saguache County, which is home to only 6,600 people and only three permanent residents.
