The event will feature three days of performances from artists in the genre. The resulting blend of musical styles will be a celebration of diverse American traditions. These styles encompass bluegrass, folk, gospel, rock and roll, and country.

Caveman Music Festival was born out of a shared vision for a summer music festival on the Central Coast of California. In the summer of 1970, a group of music professors in San Luis Obispo brainstormed the idea of a music festival. They staged the first season in the city’s historic Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa. Over the years, the festival has evolved into a multi-faceted experience spanning two weeks of concerts and a year-round chamber music series. The festival also maintains an active online presence, allowing music lovers to follow artists and see the latest news.
