What is the Ultra Music Festival? This annual outdoor electronic music festival takes place in Miami, Florida, United States. The festival was founded in 1999 by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. It is named after the Ultra Music label. It is a celebration of underground music, and its lineup is usually comprised of DJs from various genres. Deadmau5 performed at the first ultra music festival 

Deadmau5 has performed at the Ultra Music Festival three times this year. First, he replaced The Prodigy on Saturday night at Klipsch Amphitheatre, then he performed inside the Megastructure during Armin van Buuren’s annual ‘A State of Trance’. Then, he joined Pendulum to close out the Ultra Main Stage on Sunday night. He has been receiving praise from fans and media alike and is certainly a headlining act. 

Road to Ultra was the first ultra music festival 

The first Ultra Music Festival took place in 1999, at Bayfront Park. It was a success. The festival introduced new fans to electronic music while uniting purists. It also solidified a formula that would continue to make it the destination for the best electronic music performances. Since that time, the festival has grown to seven stages over two days, with three separate merch tents. The first three years were particularly notable.

RESISTANCE is one of the most popular electronic music festivals in the world. It is known for its stacked lineup of headliners and expertly curated supporting acts. The lineup this year includes high-energy techno sensation Ann Clue, progressive techno sensation Brennen Grey, and Tronic label boss and founder Christian Smith. Other headliners include genre-bending techno artist Hannes Bieger, genre-swapping techno pioneer Elio Riso, and buzzing newcomer Moritz Hofbauer.
