Rock Out to Your Favorite Bands at the Annual Caveman Summer Music Festival! 

The annual Caveman Summer Music Festival is one of the longest-running festivals in the state of Colorado. It features three days of Americana music. Many performers will be on hand to entertain attendees. This is a chance to experience bluegrass, folk, rock, and hip-hop. In addition, to live music, the festival will feature craft vendors, bake sales, and demonstrations. There are many ways to find out about upcoming events. A great way is to use social media. If you follow Facebook, you can find out if any of your favorite bands are performing in your area. You can also sign up for email updates. Often, these mailing lists will have a list of upcoming concerts, as well. 

If you’re looking for a free music event, consider heading to a Music in the Park concert. These concerts happen to alternate Fridays through August. They’re free and usually take place in a local park. For example, Rose Hill Park in Berryville hosts these events. 

If you’re looking for broader musical genres, check out the Strasburg Front Porch Fridays concert series. Every Friday through September, a local band will be on hand. Guests can bring their food and drinks, or purchase food from vendors. Several of the bands featured are regional and include Furnace Mountain Band, Alex Key + the Locksmiths, and the Marshall Tucker Band. 

There’s also the Groovin’ at the Greenway music series. Each month, the Waynesboro Parks and Rec Department will feature a wide variety of bands. Some of the upcoming performers include The Skill Billys, Blue Ridge Thunder, and Lil Bill Blue Band. 

Another festival that you should look into is the Cross Roads Music Festival. Held in New Market, this festival will offer local food trucks and beverages. You can also visit the vendor booths to see what is being offered. 

A new festival in the state of Colorado is the JAS June Experience. Taking place on June 10, this new festival will feature several musical acts. It’s a three-day affair that will feature plenty of music, food, and beautiful scenery. Guests will also have the opportunity to attend yoga workshops and lectures. 

Throughout the year, the Regional Center for Performing Arts of Luray offers several performances and events. During the summer, they host the Evenings on Main Concert Series. Featuring some of the best musicians in the region, these concerts are sure to get the crowd moving. Located in Ruffner Plaza, these shows will begin at 7:00 p.m. 

The Red Wing Roots Music Festival is another music festival that is fun for the entire family. The festival will feature over 40 folk music artists. Plus, it offers daily group bike rides. There’s even a climbing wall, lawn games, and a beer garden. Besides the music, the festival includes free admission to the Blue Ridge Children’s Museum.
