In addition to the music, you can also participate in several fun and exciting activities. One of the most popular is the laser show, presented by Laser Fantasy. There’s also a plethora of food trucks to choose from, and you can purchase tickets for the various dance parties that occur.

While you’re at the festival, you can check out some of the other local attractions in the area, such as the Colorado Renaissance Festival, which takes place over 8 weekends throughout June and July. Each day of the event is full of live music, a parade, and a horse show. It’s also pet-friendly and open to the public.

Of course, you can’t forget about the aforementioned Boulder-based Caveman Music Festival. For three days, you’ll be able to experience the best of the country’s Americana music scene. Not only that, but you’ll also have the opportunity to partake in a variety of other activities, including hiking and fishing. If you’re looking for something different, there’s even a magic show.

Other things to do around Denver during August include watching the PBR rodeo cowboys compete in the Yampa Valley. Also, you’ll want to check out the Colorado Arts Festival. This annual event celebrates the work of Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Bartok.

Another event that should be on your to-do list is the Rist Canyon Music Festival. At this event, you’ll see 20+ artists and a variety of other performances. Besides the music, you can also enjoy craft vendors, demonstrations, and bake sales. Plus, you can take a free hayride shuttle to and from the festival.

And of course, you can’t leave without checking out the Black Rifle Coffee Company’s fund for programs that benefit families, first responders, and veterans. They also support conservation efforts, and they offer free coffee to their fans.

But of course, the most important thing to know about the Caveman Music Festival is that it’s set to return for another three years in 2023. Tickets for the event will be on sale soon, and you can purchase a package that includes a ticket, a room, and a shuttle to the venue. Alternatively, you can buy a VIP package, which includes two passes, a private bar, and a shuttle to and from the festival. As the event draws closer, prices may change.

While you’re in the area, you can also go on a ride along the Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race. This race is the second oldest 100-mile bike race in North America. It’s also one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the country.
