Denver International Wine Festival

The 9th annual Denver International Wine Festival kicked off Wednesday. More than 400 wines, spirits, and beers were tasted at the Grand Tasting of International Wines. Guests did not need a degree in wine to enjoy this festival. The International Wine Guild has classes for people interested in learning more about this unique drink. It also hosts a series of educational events. The Denver International Wine Festival is free to attend, but reservations are strongly recommended.

Cherry Creek Arts Festival

During the first or fourth weekend of July, Denver hosts the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival, which focuses on the arts and crafts of Colorado. First held in 1991, the festival has evolved into an iconic Denver event. This event is one of the most popular in the Denver area, as it draws in crowds from around the country. There are many activities to enjoy at the festival, including the Cherry Creek Arts Parade, and there are various live music performances as well.

Telluride’s Territory Days

The territory days festival is one of Telluride’s most popular events. The town is known as the “festival capital” of the United States. The festival offers something for everyone, whether you’re into music, sports, art, science, or anything in between. If you’re in the market for a Colorado getaway, this is the place to be. There are more than a dozen events planned to take place over a day, so make sure to plan!

Denver’s Underground Music Showcase

The underground music scene is flourishing in Denver. Each year, more than 200 bands from Colorado and beyond perform at Denver’s Underground Music Showcase. The event takes place in over 15 different venues throughout South Broadway. Denver’s music scene is truly a melting pot, and the Underground Music Showcase is an essential part of that. Whether you’re looking for a new band to love or a new way to hear jazz music, Denver has it all.

Colorado’s largest street fair

The Territory Days festival is the state’s largest street fair and honors the rich history of Old Colorado City. Held annually on Colorado Avenue between 23rd and 27th Streets, the three-day event is packed with educational displays, patriotic tributes, and mouth-watering festival favorites. Guests can also enjoy live music from over 25 bands across three stages. The best part is that tickets are free.
